For over 25 years, Dr. Ewa Gawlik, an esteemed American Academy of Pediatrics board-certified pediatrician, has dedicated herself to the Greenpoint community, embodying passion and commitment.
Educational Journey and Professional Pathway
Graduating Cum Laude in 1986, Dr. Gawlik's journey in pediatrics began at the Pediatrics Institute of Łódź. Her residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, commenced in 1995. Achieving certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1998, she served as an attending physician at Maimonides Medical Center until founding E.G. Greenpoint Pediatrics in 2003.
Leadership and Collaborations
Beyond her independent practice, Dr. Gawlik collaborates closely with NYU Tisch Hospital at NYU Langone Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center. As a pioneer in accessible healthcare, E.G. Greenpoint Pediatrics was the first clinic in Greenpoint to accept Child Health Plus and implemented an early Electronic Medical Records System, setting a benchmark for medical care standards.
